Minimally Invasive Posterior Cervical Discectomy & Foraminotomy
This lecture will review the current surgical techniques for cervical discectomy and foramintomy. Only AANS members are eligible for CME.
Upon completion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
- Explain the indications and contraindications for minimally invasive posterior cervical discectomy
- Describe in detail, the steps involved in the safe placement of tubular retractors in the posterior cervical spine
- Identify the microscopic anatomic views to be able to perform the decompression and discectomy in posterior cervical spine
